I ordered on July 31 shortly after they started. Very difficult to contact only sporadic AI answers to my emails. Still no order received but I have a feeling when and If I do receive anything it will be inferior quality and difficult to return, Really they should be closed down for fraud. They lead consumers to believe they are in Toronto Canada.
I agree that this company is a scam. The return policy on the website indicates that returns are possible, however, after receiving the incorrect product and size, and following the instructions to contact their email address, I have gotten the run around and ridiculous offers to appease me that do not include a return option. I highly recommend that you DO NOT purchase from Smith and Brown Toronto. Having Toronto in the company name is likely used to gain some legitimacy however the company is based in China.
Scam for sure! Product I received was nothing like product ordered. Sizing was obviously made 3 rd world. Ordered XL so as to be a bit larger on me. Neck way small, shoulders way small – couldn’t pull down at all. Material and colour not same. Design not same. Had a tiny XL label attached to inside neck. That’s it! $59.95 and worth maybe $15 to $20 if correctly made. Sent complaint asking for refund. Said I could keep it and they would refund 30%. NO! Sent another offer – give me 60% back as a Gift Card for their site. But everything, I know now is overpriced and not quality. So, now can send back. I have link to form to fill out and print – to put with return. Sending pkg. back to China address. Also, asks for an account # to send the refund to. As if! They have original purchase Creditcard they can refund to. Buyer Beware!!!!!!
I just received an order of three dresses. Thank god they didnt cost a fortune. I am trying to return them to no avail. Received an email asking me if I would like to replace them and to send a donation of $14.95 per item. That is bizarre in itself. I believe I have been scam and I will let everyone know on facebook.
Do not even try to return your order. I returned my order to China (the return address that was given to me), on August 16th, at great expense, and guess what – today my returned parcel was delivered back to me!! This company is a scam, for sure.
